The Tempsford Special Duties Squadrons

The Monument to the female agents and the Tempsford Aircrews in Tempsford village was unveiled on 3rd December 2013 by HRH The Prince of Wales.

Tempsford Veterans Len Ratcliff & Bob Large were able to attend to represent the Tempsford Squadrons. Bob & Edwin were also invited, representing the TVARA, as they had both been involved with technical issues "behind the scenes" in the project. Tania Szabo & Yvette Pitt were also both present, being the daughters of female SOE agents.
