The Monument to the female agents and the Tempsford Aircrews in Tempsford village was unveiled on 3rd December 2013 by HRH The Prince of Wales. Tempsford Veterans Len Ratcliff & Bob Large were able to attend to represent the Tempsford Squadrons. Bob & Edwin were also invited, representing the TVARA, as they had both been involved with technical issues "behind the scenes" in the project. Tania Szabo & Yvette Pitt were also both present, being the daughters of female SOE agents. |
